Adrian McCoy has been covering the Pittsburgh radio market for the Post-Gazette since 1993. Before that, she wrote about radio and arts and entertainment as a freelance writer for the former Pittsburgh Press, and was an editor and writer for the newsweekly In Pittsburgh.

A University of Pittsburgh writing major and area native, she grew up listening to Rege Cordic’s innovative morning show on KDKA, and still remembers when Jim Quinn was a Top 40 DJ on KQV in the ‘60s.
