City homicide detectives are investigating a possible drowning victim found in the Monongahela River shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday.

A passer-by spotted the body of an adult white male in the river at Station Square near the Gateway Clipper Fleet docks. The Allegheny County medical examiner's office was conducting an autopsy to determine a manner and cause of the man's death.
