Season this dish with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- 2 pounds halibut steaks
- 1/4 cup LuLu Preserved Meyer Lemon in Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Mix together the preserved lemon, chives, garlic and tarragon.
Spread evenly over the halibut steaks, top, bottom and all around.
Season the steaks lightly with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place the steaks on a nonstick baking sheet and place in a preheated 500-degree oven for 10 to15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steaks. Remove from the baking tray with a metal spatula and serve immediately.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
