Sophie's Mint Juleps

1 large shot of good brandy
1 cup sugar
Mint leaves

Fill a Mason quart jar with bruised mint. Any quart jar is OK, but Southerners use Masons!

Add a big shot of good brandy, add sugar and fill jar to the rim with good bourbon.

Seal jar and place in refrigerator. Turn upside down every day for 10 days to 2 weeks. No stirring!

Serve over crushed ice.

Serves 8 to 10.
