![]() TV Notes: Lorin Maazel to appear on Letterman Saturday, September 27, 2003
Led by Pittsburgh native Lorin Maazel, the New York Philharmonic will perform for "The Late Show with David Letterman." The group will play Monday on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater, for that night's show to be broadcast at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
The Philharmonic performs Mozart's Overture to "The Marriage of Figaro." It is the second time that members of the Philharmonic have performed on "The Late Show."

Comcast channel changes
Beginning Wednesday, Comcast customers in the city of Pittsburgh and most suburbs will see two channels trade places.
Effective that date, local UPN station WNPA will move to Channel 15 and WGN will move to Channel 19.

A girl for Sesny
WPGH weekend anchor Katie Sesny gave birth to a baby girl, Maggie Knox, earlier this month. Sesny will be on maternity leave through mid-December. Reporter Kym Ga-ble will anchor in her place.
