Pittsburgh case on A&E
For the second time in a year, A&E revisits the case of Timothy Boczkowski, sentenced to death after being convicted in 1999 of murdering his second wife in their Ross home hot tub.
"City Confidential: Pittsburgh: Till Death Do Us Part" chronicles the case at 10 p.m. Wednesday, following A&E's "American Justice," which did the same story last July. Actor Paul Winfield narrates "City Confidential."
Morano starts company
Matt Morano, former WPGH meteorologist, has started a tape critique and career coaching service for TV weathercasters.
Through Winning Weather Shows, online at www.tvweathercoach.com, Morano will offer a written tape critique for $99 ($89 for college students) and a deluxe critique that includes a phone conversation for $149 ($129 for college students).
Morano's last day on Sinclair-owned WPGH was Tuesday night; centralized weathercasts from Sinclair's News Central facility outside Baltimore began airing nightly on Wednesday.
Miller rants
Castle Shannon native Dennis Miller will be featured on "Face Time with Kurt Andersen," airing at 8 p.m. tomorrow on digital cable network Trio.
Miller slams the Catholic church ("The Catholic church has lost all credibility... if it crashes and burns, that's fine with me. God [won't] crash and burn, they'll crash and burn") and comments on his place in the Hollywood firmament.
"I view show business like a party... just getting in the door...is a big deal.... I didn't make it as big as a lot of people do, but I never thought I'd make it to where I've made it, so I'm happy.... I used to be right near the door thinking ... who let me in here?"
