'Practice' castaways

ABC renewed "The Practice," but to keep the show's cost down, the show's cast has been gutted.

Dylan McDermott (who plays Bobby Donnell), Lara Flynn Boyle (Helen Gamble), Kelli Williams (Lindsay Dole), Lisa Gay Hamilton (Rebecca Washington), Marla Sokoloff (receptionist Lucy Hatcher) and Chyler Leigh (new lawyer Claire Wyatt) will not return, according to Daily Variety.

Channel surfing

At 7 p.m. Sunday, NBC will rebroadcast "100 Years of Hope and Humor," a two-hour tribute to Bob Hope, who turns 100 on May 29. ... PBS's "Dragonfly TV" will air a segment at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on WQED that was filmed at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium last November. Zoo employees and local children Alex DeMarco and Robyn Schrecengost conducted an experiment involving sea lions. (R.O.)
