No more guest hosts -- Dave Letterman returns

Chill the Ed Sullivan Theater and warm up the decaffeinated coffee. David Letterman is returning to the late-night CBS show that bears his name.

Letterman, who will be 56 on April 12, was sidelined by an eye infection brought on by shingles, a viral infection related to chickenpox. Since Feb. 26, "Late Show with David Letterman" has featured a series of guest hosts, including Bruce Willis, Elvis Costello, Will Ferrell, Paul Shaffer, Bill Cosby and Luke Wilson.

CBS says Letterman will be back tonight with guests Billy Crystal and 18-year-old world whistling champion Michael Barimo. The network reports that Letterman, who was off the air in early 2000 after emergency bypass surgery, will host all week.

Who is Dusty Drake?

That familiar voice you're hearing on country radio really is Monaca's Dean Buffalini, even though the DJs say it's Dusty Drake.

A decade ago, Buffalini quit a good job as an air-traffic controller and good gigs with the country cover band Silverado to move to Nashville to try to make it as a singer. Last year he signed with Warner Bros. and released an album under his stage name.

In Pittsburgh he's getting rotation at Y108 (WDSY 107.9 FM) and the Froggy stations (headquartered at WOGI 98.3 FM) with the single "One Last Time."
