'Ebert' earlier
WTAE has moved movie review show "Ebert & Roeper" from the wee, wee hours of the morning to the wee hours, airing after midnight at 12:35 a.m. Sundays.
This weekend's edition features critics Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper delivering their Top 10 lists of movies released in 2002.
'On Q' renewed
Initial funding for WQED's newsmagazine show "On Q" runs out this month, but station manager B.J. Leber said the station will go ahead with a fourth year, set to kick off Jan. 22 alongside the rebranding of WQED Pittsburgh as WQED Multimedia.
Leber said an additional year of funding for "On Q" comes from multiple sources, including state government, corporate underwriting by Allegheny General Hospital and four endowments: Heinz Endowment, McCune Foundation, R.K. Mellon Foundation and Pittsburgh Foundation. WQED anticipates a commitment from the Hillman Foundation early in 2003.
