'Honor' preview
WQED will preview PBS's "And Thou Shalt Honor ... Caring for Our Aging Parents, Spouses and Friends" tonight at 6 at the Oakland station, 4802 Fifth Ave.
The two-hour documentary, airing Oct. 9, explores end-of-life issues and a 15-minute preview will be shown. A community forum with local caregivers featured in the program will follow. To attend the event, call 412-622-1363 to register.
WQED weight loss program
This month, WQED tackles the weighty topic of obesity on "AgeWise" (6:30 p.m. Oct. 12), "Black Horizons" (10 p.m. Oct. 18) and "On Q" (7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 28).
New Redmond hearing date
The private complaint hearing for WPXI anchor Gina Redmond, accused of slapping WTAE producer Roberta Petterson at a party in August, has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Oct. 23.
