Selling 'Pasadena'
TV Guide Online reports Mike White, creator of Fox's stillborn soap "Pasadena," is trying to shop the series to other networks. Fox only aired three episodes last fall, although 13 total were produced, telling a complete story.
"We are looking to get it on FX or some kind of cable outlet," White said, adding that releasing all 13 installments on DVD is another option being considered.
Channel surfing
Showtime has renewed "The Chris Isaak Show" for a third season ... Sci Fi Channel will air eight new episodes of the '70s show "In Search Of..." hosted by Mitch Pileggi ("The X-Files") this fall beginning at 8 p.m. Oct. 11. ... Daily Variety reports Lisa Kudrow tells Carrie Fisher on tomorrow's "Conversations from the Edge" (10 p.m., Oxygen) that she's willing to sign for another season of the NBC sitcom "Friends"... Steven Bochco will develop a police drama set in 2069 for next season on Fox.
