Grammy plans

A tribute to the soundtrack of the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" will highlight the 44th Grammy Awards airing Wednesday at 8 on CBS. The bluegrass tribute features Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Ralph Stanley, Gillian Welch and the Soggy Bottom Boys (Dan Tyminski and Pat Enright).

Also scheduled to perform are the Dave Matthews Band, U2, Alicia Keys and a collaboration between 'N Sync and Nelly. Janet Jackson, Diana Krall and Britney Spears are among presenters.

Actor-comedian Jon Stewart will host.

Wiggin on 'Oprah'

WTAE anchor Sally Wiggin's battle with heart disease will be featured in a taped segment on today's "Oprah Winfrey Show" (4 p.m., WTAE).

Karaoke show in prime time

"The StarQuest TV Challenge" moves into prime time this week, airing at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on low-power station WBGN.

Hosted by Charles Vandergrift ("General Hospital"), the show features Pittsburghers competing in Karaoke contests for a Caribbean cruise grand prize.

Channel surfing

Pittsburgh native David Conrad ("Relativity") has been cast in Fox's pilot "Time Tunnel," a remake of the 1960s sci-fi series. It's actually one of two competing "Time Tunnel" projects. The other is in development at ABC and is based on the novel that inspired the '60s series.... A&E has canceled "100 Centre St." after two seasons.
