Lineup changes

Fans of "That's Life," who have a habit of getting worried when their fave show is pre-empted, should take note: The family drama will relocate in January, moving back to 9 p.m. Saturday. Taking its place Friday nights will be CBS's new Supreme Court drama "First Monday" starring James Garner, Joe Montegna and Charles Durning.

Meanwhile, Fox's "Pasadena," which the network said would be back in January, doesn't have a return date yet. Look for it to air on a different night when it does make it back on the schedule.

Next month NBC will return "Fear Factor" to the weekly schedule, bumping the Monday edition of "Weakest Link" beginning Jan. 7.

NBC appears to be pulling one loser and subbing another Tuesday nights at 8. Beginning Jan. 8, "The Hank Azaria Show" will replace "Emeril," but Variety reports the executive producer of "Azaria" was fired and production shut down last month after the taping of five episodes.

Bridges joins 'The Agency'

Beau Bridges will join the cast of low-rated CBS drama "The Agency" early next year as the director of the CIA.

He replaces Ronny Cox's Alex Pierce, who leaves the series in an episode this month, and steps in for an interim director played by Daniel Benzali ("Murder One").

Burns memorial service

The public is invited to attend "A Commemoration of Patti Burns" tomorrow, a tribute program that will celebrate the life and career of the popular newscaster at Carnegie Music Hall, Oakland. The limited seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors to the music hall open at 4:30 p.m., and the memorial begins at 5:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Complementary Medicine at Shadyside Hospital, the Western Pennsylvania School for the Blind, Animal Friends, Greater Love Outreach or Radio Information Services for the Blind.
