Adelphia lineup changes
Customers of Adelphia Cable in West Mifflin, Mt. Lebanon and Bethel Park will have to get digital cable to receive all premium services except HBO beginning Aug. 1.
Adelphia spokesman Frank Polito said Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel and pay-per-view channel InDemand 2 will be available only on digital because of theft of service. Too many people are using illegal black boxes to get these channels without paying for them, he said.
Several of the analog channel positions previously occupied by premium channels will be given to basic cable networks. On Aug. 1 TV Land moves to Channel 23, HGTV moves to Channel 24, Fox News Channel moves to Channel 25 and Court TV moves to Channel 26. Those changes will be reflected in the cable conversion chart of the July 29 TV Week.

AT&T lineup changes
Customers of AT&T cable on systems that used to be owned by Comcast, including those serving Tarentum and West Deer, have a new channel lineup.
AT&T didn't announce the changes until after the Post-Gazette's TV Week had been sent to the printer. The new lineup will be included in the TV Week cable conversion chart beginning July 29.
