TV Note: Belay that 'Y&R' change

Saturday, June 23, 2001

KDKA's plan to move "The Young and the Restless" to 4 p.m. starting Monday is on hold. For the time being, the soap opera will continue to air at 12:30 p.m., with "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" remaining at 4 p.m. weekdays.

A KDKA spokesman said more time was needed to do research before making the change.

High-speed living

The public radio business program "Marketplace" will air "Speed," a series of special reports exploring the positive and negative aspects of high-speed living. Topics include how living in a fast-paced society affects health and relaxation, how it impacts the economy and the effects of information overload.

"Marketplace" airs on WDUQ-FM (90.5) weeknights at 6:30. The weeklong series starts Monday.
