No, it's not another new fall sitcom getting a last-minute name change, rather, the executive titles at WQED Pittsburgh.
President George Miles announced changes in the station's senior management structure yesterday. He said the changes were made to "better align our staff resources" with WQED's strategic plan in a way that will lead to more streamlined decision-making.
B.J. Leber, formerly vice president of communications and community relations, will become vice president and station manager, responsible for management and operations of WQED's TV and radio stations.
Chris Fletcher will continue in his role as Pittsburgh Magazine publisher, but he'll now have the title vice president of publishing and Internet. Fletcher will also oversee development of the WQED Web site.
Robert Petrilli, formerly vice president and chief administrative officer, is now vice president and chief operating officer.
Carolyn Wean, formerly vice president of production and distribution, is now vice president of production and business development.
And Lilli Mosco was named vice president of membership and development, which will also include responsibility for WQED fund-raising events.
