TV Notes: Fans of WB shows mobilize

Monday, April 10, 2000

The WB's aliens-as-alienated-teens drama "Roswell" moves to Mondays tonight at 9 on Pittsburgh's WCWB. But it might not last there for long. Fans have mobilized to save the low-rated show, which could be canceled when the network announces its fall schedule next month.

Viewers have bombarded the network with bottles of Tabasco sauce, the favorite condiment of the teen-age aliens on "Roswell."

Not to be outdone, fans of The WB's low-rated "Felicity" (9 p.m. Wednesday) are threatening to send the network audio tapes bearing messages about why they like the series (on the show, Felicity tape records messages to a former teacher named Sally).

The Post-Gazette's own Readers' Remote: Keep or Cancel? poll is now active on the Internet at www.post-gazette.com/tv. Web surfers can vote to keep or cancel any of the weekly prime-time series on the broadcast networks. The polls close April 30.
