Fall Foodshare Food Drive

A program of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Giant Eagle

Fall Foodshare

Over 37,000 children and their families throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania are in need of assistance from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. You can help feed a family in need by participating in the Fall FoodShare food drive held every year in late October at your local Giant Eagle.

This event is to remember & help to feed a hungry child while grocery shopping for your family. Girl Scouts and other Food Bank volunteers will be providing shopping lists of items most needed by the hungry families in your community. United Parcel Service Trucks will also be on hand to collect, store and transport contributions to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

If you would prefer to make a cash donation, please send a check payable to:

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
One North Linden Street
Duquesne, PA 15110

For every dollar donated to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank $5 worth of food and services is delivered to agencies serving low-income families and individuals in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Donations can be made year round.
