2002-03 club: Kamloops Blazers, Western Hockey League

Statistics: In 67 games, 54 goals, 54 assists, 60 penalty minutes, plus-25 rating

Scouting: Yesterday was awarded Bob Clarke Trophy as WHL's leading scorer in regular season. Point total was four better than second place Jesse Schultz of Kelowna. Goal total was one better than Schultz. ... WHL scoring champions in past 20 years include Joe Sakic, Rob Brown, Theoren Fleury, Daymond Langkow, Ray Ferraro, Cliff Ronning. ... Blazers finished regular season Sunday with 39-27-5-1 record and second place in B.C. Division. Team opens playoffs Friday vs. Kootenay. ...
