Auditions

Cranberry -- Men and women 16 and older may audition for Comtra Theater's musical production "Into the Woods" from 7 to 9:30 p.m. May 17 and noon to 3 p.m. May19 at the theater on Route 19. Call 412-741-1198 for more information.

Concerts

New Kensington -- St. Joseph High School Mixed Chorus will present its spring concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 857 Kenneth Ave. Donations will be accepted. .

Pine -- Salem United Methodist Church, 350 Manor Road, will present John Cannon, soloist, in an organ recital at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

Donations

Butler -- The National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 48 will hold its annual one-day food drive Saturday. Uniformed letter carriers will collect nonperishable items as they deliver mail. Drop off donations at the loading dock of the Association for Retarded Citizens, PARC Building, until 4 p.m. For more information, call the United Way at 724-285-2260.

Franklin Park -- Saltworks Theater Company will present the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" Sunday through May 19 at Orchard Hill Chapel, 1553 Brandt School Road. Call 412-394-3353 for tickets.

Richland -- St. Thomas in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Route 8 at Dickey Road, will host a mystery dinner theater at 7:30 p.m. May 17-19. Tickets are $22.50 per person, with a discount for senior citizens on May 17. Proceeds benefit the youth mission. Call 724-443-1963 for reservations.

Areawide -- Pittsburgh Area Camaro Enthusiasts will host its "Camaro Kick-off" from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 19 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 20 at Pittsburgh Airport Holiday Inn, Business Route 60. Prizes and trophies will be awarded in various categories. Food, raffles, door prizes and entertainment will be available. Registration is open to Camaro owners. Flea markets

Shaler -- Epworth United Methodist Church, 1300 Burchfield Road, will hold a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. To rent selling space for $15, call 412-486-4701.

Richland -- St. Thomas in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Route 8 and Dickey Road, will host its annual May Mart from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Find bargains on clothing, crafts, fabrics, kitchenware, tools and plants. Refreshments will be available.

Ross -- The women of Christ Episcopal Church, 5910 Babcock Blvd., will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Sale items include antiques, clothing, children's items and more. Proceeds benefit area charities. Call 412-364-2442.

Hampton -- Girl Scout Troop #1287 will help children 4 to 7years old make puppets from 10 a.m. to noon May 19 at Hampton Community Library, 4969 Route 8 in Shoppers Plaza. Call 724-444-0040 to register.

Fund-raisers

Pets

O'Hara -- In conjunction with National Pet Week and Be Kind to Animals Week, Lauri Ann West Memorial Library children's department will hold a pet parade from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the library, 1220 Powers Run Road. Marshall -- A rabies clinic will be held at Warrendale Park , Mount Pleasant Road, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $6 per animal. Dogs should be on a leash; cats should be in a carrier. All pets must be at least three months old.

Plant sales

Fox Chapel -- The Piccadilly Herb Club will hold its annual herbal festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, Dorseyville Road. Proceeds benefit the Audubon Society's educational programs at Beechwood. Call 412-963-8024.

Sewickley -- Sewickley Council of Garden Clubs will host its annual May Mart from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on Broad Street. In addition to plants, linens, pillows and other hand-made items will be sold.

Shaler -- Epworth United Methodist Church, 1300 Burchfield Road, will hold a spring flower sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lot. Flats, half flats, baskets, herbs and tomato plants will be available.

Recreation

North Park -- Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of North Park swimming pool for a mushroom walk. There is no charge to participate. Call 412-682-1328 for more information.

Bellevue -- Bellevue Fire Company will hold its annual parade at 7 p.m. next Wednesday. Parade route will run along Lincoln Avenue beginning at Bryant Avenue to Starr Avenue.

Sales

Shaler -- Elfinwild Lions Club will conduct its spring sale of brooms and trash bags from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays throughout May at the Elfinwild Presbyterian Church and St. Bonaventure Church parking lots on Mount Royal Boulevard. Call 412-487-2754.

McCandless -- North Hills YMCA, 11175 Pine Creek Road, will hold a children's clothing and accessories sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Richland -- The Mission Team of Bakerston United Methodist Church, 5760 William Flynn Highway, will sell used clothing, books and household items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.n. Saturday. Bag sale begins at noon.

Seniors

Sewickley -- Sewickley Valley YMCA is looking for people 50 and older who want to participate in the Senior Challenge Games May 18-19. Registration fee is $15.
