Singer Joan Baez, center, is stopped by police as they advise her of her Constitutional rights before arresting her in front of the Oakland Induction Center, Oct. 16, 1968. Miss Baez and 75 others were arrested as they attempted to block draftees entering the Induction Center. More than 600 people participated in the anti-war demonstration.
