![]() MARIAM'S FAVORITE SEEKH KABABS (SHISH KEBAB)
The skewers are called seekhs in Urdu and are referred to as Seekh Kababs in the Indian subcontinent.
2 pounds ground beef
Mix all ingredients together. For spicier kebabs, add 1 finely chopped hot pepper and 2 tablespoons Shan seekh kabab masala (available at Pakistani or Indian grocery stores). Shape into long cylinders (like hot dogs). Put on skewers. Grill on charcoal or bake in the oven at 375 degrees. Note: We used fresh garlic and ginger.
