Pink Lemonade
Cook sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Cool; pour into a large container.
Stir in remaining 9 cups water, lemon juice, grenadine and, if desired, berries.
Chill 2 hours.
Makes 3 quarts.
