Halibut Fingers

My children really like these easy fish fingers.

  • Halibut fillets
  • Garlic-flavored oil (see note)
  • Finely grated cheese
  • Fine bread or cracker crumbs
  • Paprika (optional)

Cut the halibut into fingers -- 2 by 2 by 4 inches. Dip in the garlic-flavored oil, then in finely grated cheese, and then in fine crumbs. Arrange on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle liberally with paprika for added color, if desired. (We did not use the paprika.) Bake at 500 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Note: Available at McGinnis Sisters, Monroeville, and La Charcuterie, Shadyside.
