Mom's Graham Cracker Roll

1 pound graham crackers
1 pound marshmallows
1 pound dates, cut up
1 cup walnuts
1/2 pint whipping cream, whipped

Roll crackers fine. This is easily done in a large zipper-style plastic bag with a heavy rolling pin. Save a few crumbs to roll outside.

Cut dates and marshmallows into bite-size pieces. (If using miniature marshmallows, use only 10-ounce bag.)

Chop nuts and mix with whipped cream. Mix all ingredients into the crumbs and roll mixture into cylinders over reserved crumbs. This is easiest to do in wax paper. You will have three rolls, approximately 14 inches long.

Refrigerate. When cold, cut into slices with a sharp knife.
