This is an easy and delicious family favorite. -- Jane Citron, free-lance food writer and cooking teacher
1 (12-ounce, about 30)) package cocktail franks (Hebrew National Beef Cocktail Franks
preferred)
1 sheet ( 1/2 package) Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
Defrost puff pastry according to directions and roll one sheet of pastry (reserving second sheet for another use) on a floured surface approximately 1/8-inch thick. With a pastry wheel or sharp knife, cut strips 3-inches long and 1-inch wide. Wrap each strip around a cocktail frank, securing seams with tines of a fork.
Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with mustard -- our family's preference is Nance's Sharp and Creamy Mustard.
