The bread can be kept in the freezer as the basis for this quick, delicious appetizer.
16-ounce baked thin pizza crust (such as Boboli)
Olive oil
1/2 cup regular or reduced-calorie mayonnaise
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dried, crumbled
4 large garlic cloves, minced
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brush pizza lightly with olive oil. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly over crust. Bake until crust is crisp and topping heated through, about 10 minutes. Makes 8.
