Cookie Cutter Crisp Rolled Cookies

The orange-flavored icing really makes them tasty, and it spreads easily.

1 1/2 cups margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon lemon flavor
5 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
Glaze (see recipe)

Cookies: Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, vanilla and lemon flavoring. Beat until light and fluffy. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; stir in. Chill, then roll dough to 1/8 inch and cut the shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes or until outside edge is brown. Makes 8 dozen.

Glaze: Stir together 2 cups powdered sugar (or enough to spread easily) and 1/4 cup orange juice, then ice cookies.
