2 cups brown sugar
2 cups margarine
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups cocoa
1 cup sour milk (1 tablespoon vinegar plus milk to equal 1 cup)
2 teaspoons baking soda
Pinch of salt
7 cups flour
12-ounce bag mini chocolate chips
Cream margarine, brown sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Beat well. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Frost when cool. Makes approximately 12 dozen.
Frosting:
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Milk as needed
Cream together confectioners' sugar, margarine and vanilla. Add several tablespoons of milk, as needed for spreading consistency.
