Correction/Clarification: (Published June 13, 2000) In the recipe for St. Edmund’s Fruit Pizza in Thursday’s Food section, directions for baking the crust were omitted. The crust may be baked for 10 minutes in a 350-degree oven, then cooled before adding the topping. Or the pizza can be eaten without baking.
4 cups corn flakes, crushed
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
4 tablespoons corn syrup
1 large box (1.4 ounces) sugar-free vanilla pudding
3 cups skim milk
6 ounces light cream cheese
3 cups sliced fresh fruit
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first three ingredients in a large bowl. Press into a pizza pan. Mix pudding and milk. Whip in cream cheese. Spread over crust like frosting. Decorate the top of the pizza with fresh fruit. Serves 10 to 15 children.
