Date Pudding
1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup raisins or dates 1/2 cup chopped nuts (we used walnuts) 3/4 cup milk 1 cup brown sugar 2 cups water 1 tablespoon butte
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, dates, nuts and milk. Spread in a 9-by-13-inch pan.
Bring brown sugar, water and butter to a boil; pour over batter. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees until done and brown on top, about 45-50 minutes.
