Cabbage and Noodles
2 pounds cabbage, thinly sliced 6 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup butter 1 medium onion, chopped 1 12-ounce bag wide egg noodles
Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in large heavy skillet. Add onions and cabbage, cover, and cook on medium, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes. Uncover and cook mixture on low until cabbage is slightly brown on the edges, about 10 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Add noodles to cabbage and stir. Add 1/2 cup butter, and stir until melted.
