Journeys Of Life, Pittsburgh's premiere independent shop for books, gifts and music was created by Jean Haller in 1989 to provide the community with the resources, artifacts, and inspiration to explore personal growth, life issues, spirituality and alternatives necessary to all who travel this Journey called Life.

In 1991, Journeys moved to the present location on Bellefonte Street, a two story building, originally a flower shop, with 2,000 square feet of selling space and lots of windows and skylights. The added space allowed for expansion of topics covered in the second floor book department, while the first floor evolved as a gift shop.

Classes, workshops and spiritual cinema presentations each month.

Hours of operation

Monday & Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Noon to 5:00 p.m.
