Homestead Elks #650 is part of the Benevolent & Protective Order Of Elks, a national orginization whose mission is to work with the community in making the area safer and cleaner. They also work with the veterans organization plus have a home service program that assists individuals handicapped.
The mission of the Benevolent & Protective Order Of Eks Of The USA is to inculcate the principles of charity, justice, brotherly love and fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and serve the people and communities through benevolent programs.
This lodge includes facilities to host various kinds of events.
The lodge is open depending upon the event, but is typially open Saturday and Sunday starting at Noon.
There is metered parking in front of the lodge and guests may utilize the church parking lot adjacent to the club.
