Description

The Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) is a public access school, gallery and state-of-the-art glass studio dedicated to teaching, creating and promoting glass art.

World-renowned glass artists come to the 16,000-square-foot facility to make studio glass art where everyday people interested in learning more about glass are welcome to take a class, explore the contemporary glass gallery and watch live hot glass demonstrations.

A hidden gem in Pittsburgh that bridges the city's rich history in glass with its creative future, the Pittsburgh Glass Center is a LEED Gold certified green building.

Hours of operation

Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
