The SpringHouse was opened in December, 1975 when the Sam and Bev Minor family processing hormone-free milk, and running the country store.
Over the years The SpringHouse has grown and changed, as has the Minor family. With the emphasis on quality and good service for our customers, Sam and Bev first concentrated on the freshest milk in town, delicious cheeses, homegrown sweet corn and old-fashioned hickory smoked meats in a old-time country atmosphere. Adding a bakery gave them an opportunity to serve hot sandwiches and soups along with our other goods. In 1986 they opened the expanded version of The SpringHouse to include buffet style meals where guests can get a different homemade meal everyday, homegrown produce, a bakery, old-fashioned gifts and knick-knacks, country catering, farm-fresh dairy products, hickory smoked hams and soda fountain concoctions, all in an old-time country setting.
Varies per season, but generally open Monday through Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m.
