Description

HealthPlace is a service of Blue Cross Blue Shield that regularly offers workshops and discussions on varies health-related subjects.

It is located inside Penn Avenue Place, the home of the former Joseph Horne Company Department Store.

The Horne’s legacy remains an integral part of the structure. Most of the building’s elegant early 1900s façade has been restored. Some of the store’s original plaques can still be found on the building and the famous giant Horne’s Christmas Tree (now called the Unity Tree) still proudly hangs on the Penn & Stanwix corner each holiday season.
