Description

The historic Newington Estate is one of the oldest homes in the region, originally built on a substantial piece of property as payment for serving in the American Revolution with Gen. George Washington. Now on ten sprawling acres, this two-story brick mansion is framed by two green houses, a guesthouse, a barn, a springhouse, and the family's original icehouse. Newington also boasts a stunning manicured garden and a spectacular rhododendron collection.

The estate is privately owned but sometimes hosts select fundraising events.
