The mission of the Veterans Of Foreign Wars is to foster patriotism, to cultivate comradeship, to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead, to assist comrades, to help their widows and orphans, to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America, to its Constitution and laws, to advocate true patriotism, and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, foreign and Domestic.

The current lodge building was constructed in the 1950s. A handsome, red brick structure, the lodge has features a multi-purpose room (called a "canteen") for various member and community events including a bar and pool table.

Hours of operation

Wednesday & Thursday, Noon to 11:00 p.m.
Friday, Noon to Midnight
Saturday, Noon to 1:00 a.m.
Sunday, Noon to 11:oo p.m.

The post has its own parking facilities.
