Description

The Pittsburgh Cultural District stretches along Penn Avenue and Liberty Avenue from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center to Fifth Avenue Place.

It is home to theatres and art galleries. Many of the facilities date back more than 100 years, often as vaudeville performance space.

A project of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the district sometimes has street festivals and other outdoor activities.

Hours of operation

The district itself is open 24-hours a day, but each venue has its own operating hours.

Parking

There are various parking garages and lots scattered throughout the district, including at 6th Street & Ft. Duquesne Blvd.; Theatre Square; Fifth Avenue Place; and on Liberty Avenue near Seventh Avenue.
