Description

The Union Trust Building is one of downtown's premier office buildings, whose tenants and meeting space are sometimes used for networking events.

This historic structure, designed by architect Frederick J. Osterling, was originally built by Henry Frick as a commercial arcade and office building. The principal corridors rose four stories, flanked by dozens of shops; the ceilings were dropped when that space was enclosed for office use in later years. The interior has been faithfully restored in other respects to its sumptuous original design.

The building is also known as Two Mellon Bank Center.
