This museum is dedicated to the quintessentially American actor, James Stewart, who grew up near Pittsburgh.
James "Jimmy" Stewart (1908-1997) was best known for his self-effacing persona. Over the course of his career, he starred in many films widely considered classics and was nominated for five Academy Awards, winning one in competition and receiving one Lifetime Achievement award.
The museum is located near Stewart’s boyhood home, has exhibits, shows films and presents lectures.
Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
