POWER’s mission is to provide quality treatment & supportive services to women who are changing their lives through recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

POWER offers three distinctive services: POWER House, which is a 25-bed residential treatment facility in Swissvale that is Allegheny County’s only halfway house designed specifically for recovering women; POWER Outpatient Program, which includes an intensive outpatient program; and POWER Connection, a partnership with the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth, and Families (CYF) and Magee-Womens Hospital to identify and provide assessments and referrals for women whose addiction may be putting their children at risk.
