Located in the 42-story gothic Cathedral Of Learning on the University Of Pittsburgh Campus, the Nationality Rooms were begun in 1938 to honor and celebrate the many and varied national and ethnic heritages of the U.S., a nation of immigrants.
The rooms include those dedicated to English, Swedish, French, Syrian-Lebanese, Hungarian, German, Czech, Lithuanian, Romanian, African, Chinese, Italian and other national/ethnic groups, with many more planned.
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
On-street parking is available and the university has various parking lots.
