This is the South Hills campus of the Community College Of Allegheny County, commonly called simply CCAC. They are the largest community college in Pennsylvania and the 17th largest community college in the United States.
CCAC's mission is to make quality education affordable and accessible to the community, to provide leadership in workforce training, and support the economic development of the region.
The South Hills campus is comprised of five inter-connect buildings dominated by a six-story, comprehensive education facility. The network of structures includes lecture halls, classrooms, a learning assistance center, a community library, a theater, a radio station, dining areas and office space. A solar-heated greenhouse is adjacent to the campus complex and provides botanical accents for picturesque outdoor walkways and trails.
