This is the East Hills campus of the Community College Of Allegheny County, commonly called simply CCAC. They are the largest community college in Pennsylvania and the 17th largest community college in the United States.
CCAC's mission is to make quality education affordable and accessible to the community, to provide leadership in workforce training, and support the economic development of the region.
This campus in the suburbs east of the city in named after magazine publisher William D. Boyce (1858-1929) who founded the Boy Scouts Of America. All of its programs take place in a multi-purpose contemporary building that houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, theater, state-of-the-art library, high-tech medical instruction facilities and an award-winning child development center.
