Opened in 1995, Keystone Oaks is a three-year comprehensive school for grades six, seven and eight located in suburban Pittsburgh.
Keystone Oaks Middle School recognizes the unique qualities and challenges inherent with making the evolution from childhood to adolescence and then to young adulthood from a physical, intellectual, emotional and social perspective. The modern facility boasts six academic and one technology lab, a climbing wall, a state-of-the-art television studio as well as a multi-media library that houses a collection of more than 10,000 books and a magazine and news center that connects the schools curriculum with the students' interests.
The school is part of the Keystone Oaks School District, a public school system serving communities south of Pittsburgh including Dormont and Castle Shannon.
