Peters Creek is a historic church with a contemporary mission located in a suburb south of Pittsburgh. Here believers and seekers discover purpose, promise, hope and help for living in a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.
The congregation was formed in 1773 and began meeting on a regular basis in a log cabin in 1776. By 1884 the people built a beautiful Gothic church building with a slate roof which was torn down in 1936. The current church --- a handsome, traditional structure with contemporary elements --- was constructed in 1956 with several additions over the next decade.
Peters Creek welcomes believers from many different backgrounds and traditions.
