Established in 1998, the Three Hierarchs Eastern Orthodox School is the only Orthodox Christian school in the greater Pittsburgh area.
In Eastern Orthodox Christianity, the "Three Holy Hierarchs" refers to Basil The Great (329-379), Gregory The Theologian (329-390) and John Chrysostom (347-407). They were highly influential bishops of the early church who played pivotal roles in shaping Christian theology.
