Saint Alphonsus Parish was founded in 1901 is named in honor of Saint Alphonsus Liguori (1696-1787), the great Italian bishop and doctor ("Teacher") of the Catholic Church and founder of the missionary society called Redemptorist Fathers.
Saint Alphonsus School offers the parish and surrounding communities a dynamic educational program that is deeply rooted in Catholic tradition and philosophy.
The current school building opened in 2003. It is a handsome, contemporary red brick structure that tastefully incorporates the school building constructed in the 1950s. This state-of-the-art facility includes space for art, music and computer programs.
